and to appoint the Toronto Trustees to be a Committee to
watch proceedings and to take any action that might be
required to preserve the Status and privileges of the
University. In the matter of Trinity College a
committee was also appointed to confer with a similar
committee to be appointed by the authorities of Trinity
College, Toronto for the purpose of conferring in regard
to a scheme of unification by which Queen's might be
able to accept the examinations of Trinity College in
medicine, and conversely, Trinity be able to accept the examinations
of Queen's on the same subject.

The following resolution was also passed concerning the
question of proposed Legislation. That it is desireable to give
representation on the Board of Trustees to the Graduates of
the University through the University Council and that
a Committee be appointed to take steps to secure the necessary
legislation - a draft of the measure proposed to be submitted
to the Board at its next meeting, said committee to
consist of the Principal, the Toronto Trustees, Mr BB
Maclennan, Rev Dr Campell and Mr GM Macdonnell
as convener.

The reports of both Library and
Museum were very satisfactory for this session. The
Librarian reported large and valuable donations of
Books for the Library: including a gift from
the British Government of 2x2 valuable works
