Ordered, that the City Solicitor be requested to notify
the street Railway Company, that their agreement with the
City must be carried out as to the maintenance of the track
Ald. Eilbeck introduced a By Law respecting
forstalling which was read a first time
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committe of the whole on the second reading
Ald. Shannon in the Chair
The Councl resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman repeated the bill
lost in Committee - The Report was received - yeas 12
Nays 3.
Ald. Carson introduced a By Law respecting the
Benevolent Fund of the Fire Department and to Amend
section 311 of the Consolidated By Laws of the City of Kingston
which was read a first time
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading
Ald. W. Wilson in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause in Committee
The Report was receiveed - The 30th Rule was again
suspended and the By Law was read a third time and
passed
On motion the Council adjourned

of the City of Kingston was held this day. Present

Carson, Clements, Drennan, Dunn, Eilbeck
Gardiner, Gildersleeve, Hiscock, Hobart
Irwin, Little, McIntyre, O'Brien, Redden
Robinson, Shannon, J. Wilson, W. Wilson
The Mayor stated the meeting was Called to Consider
Resolution passed by Council on the 10th instant
Re Napanee Tamworth and Quebec Railway.
Messrs. A. C. Carter and Benjamin W. Folger were
heard in the matter
On motion of Ald. McIntyre seconded by Ald. Robinson
Resolved, that this Council expresses its
approval of the Bill Amending the Charter of the Napanee
Tamworth
