Board of Trade was read inviting the Mayor and
Corporation in an excursion to Tamworth.

A Communication from the Rectry Clerk of St. Georges
Cathedral was read stating Committee was appointed
to meet City Committee Re English Church burying ground

Aldermen Gildersleeve and O'Brien have entered

Ald. Gardiner brought up the petition of John Harpel
and 219 others against the proposed Pound By Law
[strikeout]Referred to the Committee on Streets[/strikeout]

Ald. Redden brought up the petition of M. James
against the Pound By Law - [strikeout]Referred to the Committee on
Streets &c.[/strikeout]

Ald. Shannon here entered

Ald. Gildersleeve left.

Ald. Robinson brought up the petition of H. Derry & others
asking the Council to pass a By Law for the Construction of
a sewer on Earl street - Referred to the Committee on
Streets.

Ald. O'Brien brought up the petition of Richard
Cowman and 9 others asking for Pump and platform
for well on George or Picard street - Referred to the Committee
on Streets.

Ald. Little brought up the petition of P. Lameurcaux
complaining of damage to his property north end of Rideau
street and asking it may be remedied.

Ald. McIntyre from the Committee on Finance and
accounts brought up a Report (Number 419 Book E.) which
was read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets &c,
brought up a Report (Number 420 Book E.) which was
read and adopted

Ald. Thompson introduced a By Law to make
provision for the watering of the streets within certain
additional areas in the City of Kingston and to define the
said areas for the year 1886 - which was read a first tme

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause - the Report
was received.

The 30th Rule was again suspended and the By Law
was read a third time and passed

Ald. McIntyre introduced a By Law to [strikeout]amend[/strikeout] extend the
Pound limits of the City of Kingston and to Amend section
622 of The Consolidated By Laws of the City of Kingston for
a second reading. The Council went into Committee of the
whole on the second reading
