be referred to the Committee on Streets to report and that the

Mrs McGill claiming damages of $500 for injuries to property
on Union street referred to the Committee on Streets

Ald. Thompson brought up the petition of E. Benjamin
Wilson and others asking for a sewer on Upper Colborne
street under local improvement act - Referred to the Committee
on Streets.
Ald. Robinson brought up the petition of T. A. Carnovsky
and others complaining of the dangerous state of Princess street
from Alfred street . - Referred to the Committee on Streets
Ald. Drennan brought up the petition of John Holmes
calling attention to the state of Magdalen street and asking for
a road to be made there - Referred to the Committee on Streets
Ald. Robinson brought up the petition of E. H. Hobart
asking for a remission of License - Referred to the Committee on
Licenses
Ald. Carson from the Commitee on Finance and accounts
brought up a Report (Number 423 Book E.) which was read
Ald. Carson moves seconded by Ald. Harty
That the report of the Committee on Finance and accounts
be received and adopted

Ald. Eilbeck moves seconded by Ald. McIntyre
That the report of the Committee on Finance and
accounts be amended and that the Items of Two hundred and
ten dollars and two hundred dollars for the portrait of Ex Mayor
Smyth and for relief of Vancouver sufferers be struck out
In amendment 2nd
Ald. Thompson moves seconded by Ald. Gardiner
That the report of the Committee on Finance and accounts
be amended and that the amount of two hundred and ten dollars
$210.00 for the Portrait of Ex Mayor Smyth be struck out.
