A Circular from the Office of the Attorney General
was read. Re Ballot Boxes - Referred to the City Clerk

A Communication of J. L. Babcock was read
Re Butchers License - Referred to the Committee on
Licenses

Sundry petitions respecting Taxes were submitted
and referred to the Court of Revision

Ald. Hiscock brought up the petition of J. P.
Treneer asking permission to do the work of emptying
Privy pits & Cesspools according to the provisions of the
By Law - Referred to the City Commissioners

Ald. Carson brought up the petition of I. T. A.
[Landeryon?] Complaining of obstruction - Referred to
the Committee on Streets

Ald. Carson from the Committee on Finance
and accounts brought up two Reports - Nos 436 & 437
Book E.) which were read and adopted

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets &c
brought up a Report (Number 438 Book E.) which was read
and adopted.
