The Council resumed

The Committee rose and the Chairman repor cx ted the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause - The Report was
received

The 30th Rule was again suspended and the By Law
was read a third time and passed

On motion of Ald. McIntyre seconded by Ald. Drennan

Ordered, That the Council go into Committee of the
whole on the By Law respecting the Assessment of the City

Yeas Mayor Carson, Aldn. Hobart, Muckleston, McGuire
McIntyre, Phelan, Rees, Shannon, Smith, Wilmot 10

Nays Ald. Downing, Hiscock, Redden, C. Robinson, Snowden
Thompson, Wilson 7.
