Queen and Bay streets watered
Ald. Muckleston from the Committee on Finance and
accounts brought up a Report (Number 472 Book F.)

City Solicitor was read Re Claim Cuvlan and Daly
On motion of Ald. Gildersleeve seconded by Ald. Shannon
Ordered, That the Finance Committee be authorised
to pay such portion of Messrs Cuvlan and Dalys account
of $31.50 as they may deem sufficient to cover the damages
done - Yeas 13 Nays 1.
On motion of Ald. McIntyre seconded by Ald. Muckleston
Ordered, That the accounts of Samuel Jenkins
struck out of the report of the Finance Committee at the last
meeting of the Council be inserted in the present report
On motion of Ald. Muckleston seconded by Ald. Redden
Ordered, That the Report of the Finance Committee
be received and adopted as amended
The Chairman from the Committee on Fire Water
and Gas brought up a Report (Number 473 Book F.)
which was read and adopted
The Chairman from the Committee on City Property
brought up a Report (Number 474 Book F.) which was
read and adopted
On motion of Ald. Thompson seconded by Ald. Redden
Ordered, That the Mayor be authorised to act as
Chairman of the Committee on Markets with power to act
