Phelan, Polson, Redden, C. Robinson, W. Robinson
Shannon, Swift, Wilmot, Wilson

The Clerk read the Minutes of the last meeting
Communications were read as follows: _

From James Agnew Esquire, City Solicitor giving synopsis
of late Amendments to Municipal Act. Referred to Municipal
Amendments Committee.

From James Agnew City Solicitor Re Transient Traders
Referred to the License Committee.

From Alex: Marling Education Department Toronto
High School Grant $1,71.45. remitted to High School Board.

From Henry T. Shibley Barrister claiming damages
for John E Campbell owing to injuries recieved _ Referred to the
Committee on Streets

From City Clerk Re Subdivisions of the City
and furnishing certificate of the approval by the Electors
of the By Law to raise Loan of $140 000.

From R. A Kent Secy of Committee Parliament Buildings

Ald: Redden brought up the petition of the Kingston
Philharmonic Society asking permission to erect a pipe
organ on City Hall for the purpose of their Oratorio in
City Hall on City on 10th proximo _ Referred to Committee
on City Property with power to act.

Ald: Wilmot brought up the petition of John McKim
asking for grant of money owing to injuries received. Referred
to the Committee on Finance.

Ald: C. Robinson brought up the petition of Joseph
McMillan and others asking for a sewer in first street under
the Local Improvement Act _ Referred to the Committee on Streets
