Ald: Gildersleeve moves seconded by Ald: Polson
that the report of the Committee on Water
Works be received and adopted

In Amendment
Ald: McIntyre moves seconded by Ald: Wilmot
that the discussion of the report be adjourned
and that in the mean-time it be referred to the Committee
to reconsider the tenders submitted and that the members
of the Council be invited to attend any meeting of the
Committee for the purpose of obtaining all possible information
and that the parties tendering be allowed also to be present
at such Meeting of the Committee _ further that test pits
be made in the new territory _ which being put was carried
and the original motion was lost [Underline]
