A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Kingston was held this day Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Adams, Dunlop, Fenwick, Gaskin, Gildersleeve
Harty, Minnes, Muckleston, McCammon, Polson
Redden, Shannon, Wilmot
The Clerk read the Minutes of the three last meetings

Ald: Gildersleeve from the Committee
on Finance and Acoounts brought up two Reports
(Numbers 537 & 538 Book F) which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets
and Improvements brought up two Reports (Numbers
539 & 540 Book F) which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Select Committee on Law
and Reform brought up a Report ( Number 541 Book F)
which was read and adopted

Ald. Gildersleeve introduced A By Law to adopt
an award which was read a first time.

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading

Ald: Adams in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported
the second reading of the By Law clause by clause
the Report was received.
The By Law was read a third time and passed
and was then signed and sealed

Ald: Wilmot introduced a By Law to authorize
the construction of a common sewer on a part of Albert
Street in the City of Kingston, as a local improvement, under
the provisions of the Municipal Act in that behalf _ which
was read a first time

A Report from the City Engineer was here
read giving estimated cost of a common sewer on
Albert Street from Brock to Johnson Street Kingston

The 30th Rule of Council was suspended and
the Council went into Committee of the whole on the
second reading

Ald: Dunlop in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause the Report
was received _
The By Law was read a third time and passed
and was signed and sealed

Ald. Gildersleeve introduced a By Law respecting
wooden
