A Special Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Adams, Dunlop, Fenwick, Gaskin, Gildersleeve
Hiscock, Minnes, Muckleston, McIntyre, Polson
Redden, C. Robinson, Shannon, Wilmot

The Mayor stated the Meeting was called to take up
general business
Communications were read as follows: _
From R. K. Row asking for the Municipal Grant
of $25.00 due the Teachers Association _ Referred to the
the Finance Committee

From Felix Shaw for permission to remove trees
Referred to the Committee on Streets.

From John Brokenshire asking for an allowance
on account of injuries received _ Rreferred to the
Committee on Streets

Ald: Gaskin from the Committee on Finance
and Accounts brought up two Reports (Numbers 559
and 560 Book F) which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets
and Improvements brought up a Report (Number 561
Book F) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman on Streets presented a Report from
the City Engineer on the condition of the Street Railway
which was read.

The Chairman from the Committee on Wharves
and Harbors brought up a Report (Number 562 Book F)
which was read and adopted.
