A Special Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Kingston was held this day Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Adams, Dunlop, Fenwick, Gaskin, Goldersleeve, Hiscock
Miller, Minnes, Muckleston, McCammon, McIntyre
Polson, Redden, C. Robinson, W. Robinson, Shannon
Swift, Wilmot, Wilson

The Mayor stated the meeting was called to consider the Bonus
By Laws

On Motion of Ald: McIntyre the Council went into
Committee of the whole on the second reading of the By Law
entitled " A By Law to aid and assist the Napanee, Tamworth
and Quebec Railway Company by granting a Bonus thereto of
Seventy five thousand dollars, for the purpose and upon the conditions
therein mentioned and contained

Ald: Adams in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to
sit again _ The Report was received
On Motion the Council adjourned

The Mayor stated the Meeting was called to consider
the Bonus By Laws.

Ald: Gildersleeve moves seconded by Ald: C. Robinson
that the Council go into Committee of the whole
on the By Law to aid and assist the Kingston, Smith Falls and
Ottawa Railway Company by granting a Bonus thereto of
$150.000 for the purpose and upon the conditions therein
mentioned and contained
