The Clerk read the Minutes of the four last
meetings
Communications were read as follows: _

From George Thompson Collector of Taxes stating
the Amount of Taxes Collected to date be $78.328.76.

From Britten and Whiting calling attention to drain
opposite to Fallen's Hotel. Referred to Committee on
Streets.

From Donald McIntyre relative to the flooding of
the Cellar Neil McIntyre on Division Street and stating
he will hold the Corporation liable in damages for injuries
Referred to the Committee on Streets

From J.B. McIver and others respecting Taxes
Referred to the Court of Revision

From James Agnew City Solicitor Re Street
Railway

From P.B. Douglas Assitant Secretary
Department of the Interior transmitting a lease in
favor of the Corporation of the City of Kingston of the
strip of land in front of lot No 23 late in the first
Concession of the Township of Kingston new in the City
Kingston in Connection with the Construction of a
breakwater _ lease for 99 years rental $1 per Annum
payable
