The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause as Amended
the Report was received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed
and was sealed and signed by the Mayor

Ald: Harty introduced "A By Law to appoint [Strike Through]
Deputy Returning officers and places for holding the next
Municipal and Public School Trustee Elections for the City
of Kingston" which was read a first time

The 30th Rule of Council was suspended and the
Council went into Committee of the whole on the second
reading.

of Kingston was held this day Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Adams, Dunlop, Fenwick, Gaskin, Gildersleeve
Harty, Hiscock, Minnes, Muckleston, McCammon
Polson, Redden, C. Robinson, Shannon, Swift
Wilmot, Wilson

The Meeting was called to take up the regular business
the Clerk read the Minutes of the two last Meetings
Communications were read as follows: _

From George Thompson stating amount of Taxes
collected to date

From William T. Burke Secy Alert Fire Co. asking for a
refund of rent of City Hall _ Referred to the Committee on
City Property.

From Edward Ruddy proposing to take charge of dead
animals through the City _ Referred to the Committee on City
Property.
