Ald: Shannon bought up the petition of I.F. Swift
and 30 others calling the attention of the Council to the crossing
upon King street in the neighbourhood and through the Market square
to _ Referred to the Committee on the Market.

Ald: Cruggan brought up the petition of William
Robinson and six others asking to have a sewer constructed
in a part of Colborne street from Barrie street to Chapmans street
Referred to the Committee on Streets.

Ald: Rees brought up the petition of Antoine Lalonde
and 4 others asking to have a sewer constructed in Cataraqui
street from Rideau to the water. Referred to the Committee on
Streets

Ald: Gaskin brought up the petition of Daniel Reeves
and 18 others stating they do not want a [?] sewer built on
Montreal street between James street and Markland street as
advertised under local improvement act. Referred to the Committee
on Streets _

Ald: Fenwick from the Committee on Finance and accounts
brought up a Report (Number 609 Book F) which was read and
adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets brought
up a Report (Number 610 Book F) which was read and
adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets & Improvements
Re Street Railway Company, brought up a Report (Number 611 Book F)
which was read.

Ordered, That the recommendation of Committee on Streets
No 601 (adopted April 8. 1889) Re grant of $250 to assist in grading William street be
reconsidered and rescinded

On Motion of Ald: Gaskin seconded by Ald: McCammon

Ordered, That the report of the Committee on Streets in
connection with the agreement with the street Railway Company
be received and adopted.
