By Laws therein mentioned which was read a first time
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading
Ald: Hiscock in the Chair

Kingston was held this day. Present

Adams, Carson, Cruggan, Drennan, Fenwick
Gaskin, Gildersleeve, Harty, Minnes, McCammon
McIntyre, McLeod, Polson, C. Robinson, W. Robinson
Shannon, Wilson

The Clerk read the Minutes of the two last meetings
Communications were read as follows: _

From R J. Dobbs _ Re painting Fire Alarm Boxes
Referred to the Committee on Fire, Water and Gas

From B M. Britten Esquire stating the City has
taken possession of his land in opening up a street _ being
part of lot 18 on the East side of the Montreal Road
Referred to the Committee on Streets

From R. Meek Esquire Secretary Midland
Central Fair _ Re aid to Exhibition
On Motion of Ald: Gildersleeve seconded by Ald: Gaskin
Ordered, that the sum of three hundred dollars
be granted to the Midland Central Fair Association in aid
of its exhibition for the present year this Amount being similar
to that granted by the Council of the County of Frontenac
and that the Finance be requested to provide funds
for the same _ Yeas the Mayor, Ald: Adams , Cruggan, Drennan
Fenwick, Gaskin, Gildersleeve, Harty, Minnes, McCammon
McIntyre
