Committee of the whole on the second reading.

The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause _ The Report was
received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed
Ald: Gaskin introduced a By Law to authorise the
construction of a Common Sewer in a part of Wilson Street in the
City of Kingston, as a local improvement, under the provisions
of "The Municipal Act" in that behalf _ which was read a
first time.

A Report from Thomas O. Bolger, City Engineer was read
Re sewer on Nelson street from Princess to Johnston street

The Council went into Committee of the whole on
the second reading of the By Law to authorise the Construction
of a Common sewer in a part of Garret street in the City of
Kingston, as a local improvement, under the provisions of the
Municpal Act in that behalf _

On Motion of Ald: McIntyre seconded by Ald: Polson
Ordered, that the question of the assessment of Corner
Lot owners under the law relating to local improvements be
referred to the streets Committee and City Solicitor to settle
upon same equitable scheme, embody the same in a By Law
and submit same to this Council at its next Meeting
