Ald: Gaskin introduced a By Law for the Construction
of a Common Sewer in that part of Nelson street, in the City
of Kingston, as a local improvement, under the provisions of
the Municipal Act in that behalf _ which was read a first
time

The Report of the City Engineer was read Re Construction
of a Common Sewer in part of Nelson street

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading of the
By Law

Ald: Wilson in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose, and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause _ The Report was
received _
The By Law was read a third time and passed

Ald: Gaskin introduced a By Law to authorise the
issue of debentures for $15.600 under "The City of Kingston debt
arrangement Act 1887" (50th Victoria, Chap 56, Ontario 1887) which
was read a first time.

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went into
committee of the whole on the second reading
Ald: Fenwick in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second reading
of the By Law clause by clause _ The Report was received.

The By Law was read a third time and passed

The Council went into Committee of the whole on the
second reading of the By Law to raise by way of loan the sum
of $2,100.00 for the public school purpose therein mentioned
(read a first time February 19th 1890.)

Ald: Muckleston in the Chair
The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause _ The Report was received

The 30th Rule was suspended and the By Law was
read a third time passed

Ald: Gaskin introduced a By Law to change the names
of Certain streets in the City of Kingston therein named _ which was
read a first time.

Ald: Redden gives notice that he will introduce a By Law
to have the Civic Holiday a permanent one, on the second
Wednesday in August every year

On Motion the Council adjourned
