Ordered, that the Finance Committee be authorised
by this Council to procure a complete Photo by the most
competent man of the City of Kingston having the Mayor
on one corner and the City Clerk on the other Corner

injury to property _ referred to Committee on Wharves and
Harbor

From John Hurley calling the attention of the
Council to the manner in which the spring Bridge portion
of the Cataraqui Bridge is conducted. Referred to the
Committee on Wharves.

petition to have the oil cloth Factory moved

From John Cowdy for a refund of Carters License

Webster Augustus, William McCammon, James Daly and
David Thompson for the position of Clerk of the Market
and Harbor Masters

On Motion of Ald. Gaskin seconded by Ald: Redden
Ordered, that the vote for Clerk of Market
and Harbor Master be taken by ballot and the
candidate having the least number of votes drop out
and another ballot be taken and continue in that way
until there are only two candidates and the one
receiving the largest number of votes be elected
Clerk of the Market and Harbor Master

On Motion of Ald. Gaskin seconded by Ald:
Wm Robinson
Ordered that the Man now about to be
appointed is to act Clerk of the Market and Harbor
Master _ and the salary to be $450 per year

A Ballot having taken place William McCammon
on the third ballot was elected Clerk of the Market
and Harbor Master _ For William McCammon 10 votes
for James Daly 9 votes
