Kingston September 22nd 1890.

A meeting of the Council of the Corportation of the City of
Kingston was held this day. Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Anglin, Creeggan, Fenwick, Gaskin, Machar,
Minnes, Muckleston, McGammon, McIntyre, Redden,
Rees, Robertson W., Shannon, Steacy, Swift Jos F,
Thompson, Webster

The Clerk read the minutes of the two last meetings.
Communications were read and referred as follows:
From T.O. Bolger, City Engineer in behalf of the Manager
of the Bank of Montreal and B.W. Folger making a proposition
to lay a flag walk on King Street. Referred to the Committee
on Streets with power to act.

From George Thompson Collector of Taxes - re taxes
collected to date. Referred to the Finance Committee.

From Messrs Kirkpatrick and Rogers in behalf of Mrs. Julia
Durn removal of board walk. Referred to the Committee
on Streets.

From P. Lawless, Margaret Stratford and John Gowdy
re taxes. Referred to the Court of Revision.

Petitions were presented, read and referred as follows:
From John Primo, by Alderman Redden asking for a
license to keep a second hand shop without a license fee.
Referred to the Committee on Licenses.

From Mary Connolly, by Alerman McCammon, asking for
a revision of taxes. Referred to the Court of Revision.

From R Boyd and 12 others, by Alderman Creeggan asking
for an extension of the Water Works System. Referred to the
Committe on Water Works.

From Richard Boyd, by Alderman Creeeggan asking to have
some trees removed.
On motion of Alderman Creeggan, seconded by Alderman McCammon.
Ordered that the request of R. Boyd in reference shade
trees be granted under the direction of the City Engineer.

From David Rogers and 76 others, by Alderman Gaskin, asking
shelter for produce on Market Number Two - Referred to the
Committee on the Market.

Alderman Fenwick from the Committee on Finance & Accounts
brought up two reports (Numbers 751 and 752 Book F) which
were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committe on [strikethrough] Finance [/strikethrough] Streets and
Improvements up a Report (Number 753 Book F)
which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Water Works
brought up a Report (Number 754 Book F) which was
read.

On motion of Alderman Muckleston secondedby Alderman Machar
