The Chairman from the Committee on Water Works brought
up a Report (Number 882 Book F) which was read and
adopted as amended.

The Chairman - per Ald Livingston from the Committe
on City Property brought up a Report (Number 883 Book F)
which was read and adopted.

Ald Gaskin introduced a By Law No 390 entitled
A By Law to authorise the Construction of a Common Sewer
in a part of Barrie street from a point fifty feet north of Colborne
street to connect with the tile sewer in York Street - which was
read a first time

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the Whole on the second reading

The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause - The Report was
received.
The By Law was read a third time and passed.

Ald Elliott introduced A By Law to raise by way of
loan upon the Credit of the debentures of the Municipality of the
City of Kingston for the purposes therein mentioned the sum
of $6000.00 which was read a first time - The 30th Rule
was suspended and the Council went into Committee of the
whole on the second reading

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second reading
of the By Law clause by clause - The Report was received.

The Committee of the whole resumed on the second
reading of the By Law to raise by way of loan on the credit of
the Debentures of the Municipality of the City of Kingston the sum
of $42,000 for the purpose of the Public School Board of the City
of Kingston therein mentioned.

Ald Hardy introduced A By Law to raise by way of loan
upon the Credit of the debentures of the Municipality of the City of
Kingston for the purpose therein mentioned the sum of $2500.00
which was read a first time
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went into
Committee of the whole on the second reading
