On motion of Ald Polson seconded by Ald McCammon
Ordered, That Rule No 31 be suspended to Consider
a Local Improvement By Law from a point on Princess street to Gordon
street.

Ald Gaskin introduced A By law to authorise the
construction of a common sewer in a part of Princess street
in the City of Kingston as a local improvement under the provisions
of the Municipal Act in that behalf (Number 393) which was read
a first time.

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading
Ald Wright in the Chair
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the Second
reading of the By Law clause by clause - the Report was
received.
The By Law was read a third time and passed.

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Hardy.
Ordered. That Rule 31 be suspended for the reading
of the By Law relating to local improvements and the opening
of South Bartlett street and all other By Laws.

Ald Muckleston introduced By Law No 394
entitled "A By Law to consolidate the several amounts
for which local improvement debentures are authorised
to be issued by By laws Numbers 366, 367, 368, 369, 370,
371, 372, 373, 374, 375, 376, 377, 378, 379, 380 and 381 of the
Corporation of the City of Kingston in one amount and to
issue debentures for said amount in place of the debentures
authorized to be issued by the said By Laws for the said
several amounts less the amount thereof commuted -
which was read a first time-

The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading

The Council resumed
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause - The Report
was received.
The By Law was read a third time and passed

Ordered, That the notice of the passing by this Council
of By Law No 394 and its purpose shall be published
in the newspaper published in this City called the Kingston
Daily News

The Council went into Committee of the whole
on the second reading of the By Law No 395 entitled "A By Law
respecting Public Market Number one in the City of
Kingston and the weighing of fresh or butchers meat
marketed and sold therein
