A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston
was held this day. Present
His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Creeggan, Drennan, Dunlop, Gaskin, Herald,
McLeod, Oberndorffer, Ryan, Skinner, Wright
The Meeting adjourned for want of a quorum.

Aldermen
Behan, Carson, Creeggan, Curtis, Drennan,
Dunlop, Elliott, Fair, Gaskin, Hardy, Herald,
Livingston, Meek, McLeod, Oberndorffer, Polson,
Robinson, Ryan, Skinner, Wilson, Wright
The Clerk read the minutes of the two last meetings.
Communications were read as follows:-
The Mayor administered the declarations of
qualification and of office to William J. Fair Alderman
for Victoria Ward absent thro' illness at the inaugural
meeting and signed certificate
From J.B. White Re: Thompson Bond.
On motion of Ald. Polson seconded by Ald Ryan
Ordered, that the present order of business be
suspended and that the Council now proceed to strike the
standing Committees of the Year
The Chairman from the Select Committee to
strike the standing Committees for the year 1892
brought up a report which was read.
Ald Gaskin moves seconded by Ald Drennan
That the report of the Committee to strike
standing Committees for 1892 be received and adopted
which being put was lost.
