Ald Carson introduced By Law No 415 entitled "A
By Law to amend the By Law entitled "A By law to Consolidate
and amend the By Laws of the Corporation of the City of Kingston
and to repeal certain By Laws" which was read a first time.

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Herald.
Ordered, that Drs Saunders and K.W. Fenwick be added
to the Special Committee appointed by this Council at its
regular meeting of May 2nd last to consider the report of Local
Board of Health and the communications of the W.L. Gordon and
Dr Fee.

On motion of Ald Elliott seconded by Ald Robinson.
Ordered, that this be an instruction to the City
Engineer to make such arrangements with the Chairman of
the Water Works Committee and the Chairman of the Fire, Water
and Light Committee whereby the public sewers and branch
sewers will be flushed out at certain intervals during the
summer months.

to levy a rate of 17-1/2 mills in the dollars upon the assessed
value of the ratable property in the municipality of the City of
Kingston
