Carson, Curtis, Drennan, Fair, Gaskin, Hardy, Oberndorffer, Wright

The meeting adjourned for want of a quorum.

Elliott, Fair, Gaskin, Hardy, Herald, Meek, Oberndorffer,
Polson, Robinson, Ryan, Skinner, Wright

Communications were read and referred as follows:

From C.F. Jones Re: Collection of street watering taxes. Referred to
the Committee on Finance &c

From B.M. Britton Esquire Re: Building Hotel in "Murney
Tower field". Referred to the Committee on Finance and Parks.

From James Agnew City Solicitor. Re: Turney License.
Referred to Committee on Finance &c

From George Thompson, Collector of Taxes, Taxes Collected - Referred
to Committee on Finance &c

From Britton and Whiting claiming damages for John Irwin
owing to a fall on alleged defective side walk. Referred to
the Committee on Streets &c

From John Kerr Manager Kingston Light, Head and Power Co
respecting removal of the old lamp from the street Mains &c
Ald Herald moves seconded by Ald Behan
That the offer of the Heat Light and Power Company
be accepted. The Work to be done under the supervision of the
City Engineer.

In amendment
Ald Ryan moves seconded by Ald Oberndorffer
That the Communication be referred to the Fire, Water
and Light Committee which being put was carried and the
