the following streets and place in the City of Kingston, namely:
along Wellington street from Queen street to Union street, thence along
Union street to the City Park, thence along the City Park just South of
Park Avenue to the intersection of Stuart and Barrie streets, thence along
Stuart street to University Avenue thence along University Avenue
to Brock street, thence along Brock Street to Clergy street, thence along
Clergy street to Queen street thence along Queen street to Wellington street,
also along Johnson street to the Grand Trunk Railway depot or station
and also along Lower Gordon Street from Stuart Street to King street
thence along King street to Ellerbeck street, thence, along Ellerbeck street
to Simmons street, thence along Simmons street to Pembroke street,
thence along Pembroke street to Union street, thence along Union street
to the City limits. On these above mentioned streets the said Railway is
to be constructed and equipped with an Electric Street car service thereon
under and according to the Specification therefor adopted by this Council and
the terms and conditions therein contained within one year from the
signing of the agreement for the construction thereof, the track to be single or double
in any street or streets as may be desired by this Council.

The Company, firm or person contracting for the construction of the said
Railway in the said above mentioned streets also to have the option within five
years of the date of the said agreement of extending said Railway upon and
along the following streets that is to say along Montreal street from Queen
street to James street thence along James street to Patrick street, thence
along Patrick street to Pine street thence along Pine street to Division street
thence along Division street to Brock street also along Brock street from
University Avenue to Albert street thence along Albert street to Princess street
thence along Princess street north easterly to the City Limits said extension
to be constructed and equipped with an Electric street car service thereon
under and according to the said specification and the terms and
conditions therein contained the track to be single or double in any street or
streets as this Council may desire and if the said company, firm or person
do not exercise their option within the said period of five years the said
City Corporation is to be at liberty to contract for the construction of the Railway
on said last mentioned streets with any other company, firm or person
or to construct the same themselves and the parties or party so constructing said
additional lines shall have the right to run over the lines of the said first
mentioned company, firm or person to and from the Grand Trunk
Railway depot at the foot of Johnson Street for such compensation as may
be awarded them in an arbitration to be held as provided, in the the Municipal Act.

(b) Also that the Kingston Street Railway Company be notified
of the above desire of the Corporation of the City of Kingston in accordance
with clause 34 of the agreement between the said corporation and the
said The Kingston Street Railway Company dated the 7th day of June 1876
and offered the privilege or option of constructing, equipping and operating the
the said Electric Street Railway's in, said, streets and place under and according
to the said specifications and the terms and conditions therein contained and if
the said The Kingston Street Railway Company are willing and within six
months after the services of the said notice undertake to and within one year
from the date of the agreement to be entered into perform the construction
equipment and operation of the said Electric street Railway in, along and
