Ald Elliott moves seconded by Ald Carson
That the clause of the report referring to a cash deposit
for use of hose be struck out - which being put was lost and the
original motion was carried.

The Chairman of the Water Works Committee submitted
with the above report a statement of the company for 1892 and
also an order of Court Re: the Corporation of the City of Kingston
Plaintiffs and Antoine Rousseau, James Reid Wilson and Arnold
G. Fenwick Defendants.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water and
Light brought up a Report (Number 1023 Books G) which was
read and adopted.

The Chairman also submitted Report of Henry
Youlden Chief Engineer of the Fire Departmet Re
State of the Department.

The Chairman from the Committee on City Property
brought up a Report (Number 1024 Book G) which was
read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Licenses brought
up a Report (Number 1025 Book G) which was read and
adopted.
Ald Skinner here entered.
The Chairman from the Committee on Printing brought
up a Report (Number 1026 Book G) which was read and
adopted.

Ald Polson introduced a By Law to raise by way
of loan the sum of $13,000 necessary for the further extension
and improvements of the City Water Works which was
read a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the Whole on the second reading.

The Council resumed .
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause.
The report was received.

Ald Herald introduced "A By Law to amend
By Law No 429" which was read a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the Whole on the second reading.

The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause. The
report was received. The 30th Rule was again suspended
and the By Law was read a third time and passed
and ordered to be signed and sealed.
