retirement from the Council Board of Aldermen Drennan,
Dunlop, Creeggan, Livingston, Air and Oberndorffer and this
Council takes this opportunity of placing on record their
appreciation of the faithful manner in which these gentlemen
have attended to the various duties assigned to them and of their
gentlemanly and courteous conduct at all times towards their
fellow Aldermen.

The Mayor having left the Chair by request.

Ald Hardy who chosen Chairman
On motion of Ald Ryan seconded by Ald Elliott
Ordered, That the thanks of this Council be tendered
to Mayor McIntyre for the gentlemanly, courteous and intelligent
manner in which he has conducted the makings of the Council
during the year 1892 (Carried unanimously).

Ald Hardy having left the Chair. The Mayor resumed
the same.

On motion of Ald Skinner seconded by Ald Behan.
Resolved, That this Council reorganizing the eminently able
manners in which the duties of the City Clerks office have been
discharged during the past fifty years by Micahel Flanagan
Esquire and highly estimating his stainless personal qualities place
upon record its keen appreciation of the manner in which his duties
have been performed and the great value which the City during a
half century has derived from his services. That this Council
congratulates Mr Flanagan upon his completion of such a long term of
service and trusts that he may be spared to continue in his present
office for many years (unanimously carried by a standing vote).

On motion of Ald Hardy seconded by Ald Skinner
Ordered, That a note of thanks be tendered to the Press
Reporters.

On motion the Council adjourned
