Ald McKelvey moves seconded by Ald Wilson.
That the report of the Special Committee to strike
the standing Committees be received and adopted. The first named
on each Committee to be Chairman

In amendment
Ald McIntyre moves seconded by Ald Hardy
That the name of Ald Gaskin be substituted
for the name of Ald Robinson as the representative of
Cataraqui Ward on the Streets Committee which being
put was lost and the original motion being put was
carried.

On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded by Ald McIntyre
Ordered, That the following be a Special
Committee on Street Railway extension - the Mayor,
Aldermen McIntyre, Curtis, Hardy, Gaskin, Ryan
and the mover.

Ald Hardy introduced "A By Law to appoint two
Trustees on the Kingston Collegiate Institute Board to fill
the Annual vacancies caused by retirement" which was
read a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading.
Ald Arneil in the Chair.
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause.
The Report was received.
The 30th Rule was again suspended and the
By Law was read a third time and passed.

Ald Elliott introduced "A By law to appoint
Auditors for the Municpality of the City of Kingston
for the year 1893" which was read a first time.
The 30th rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of othe Whole on the second
reading.
Ald Behan in the Chair.
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the
second reading of the By Law clause by clause. The
report was received.
The 30th Rule was again suspended and the
By Law was read a third time and passed.
Yeas -14 Nays - 7.

a local Board of Health in and for the municipality of
the City of Kingston" which was read a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council
went into Committee of the whole on the second reading.
