A Meeting of the Corporation of the City of
Kingston was held this day. Present:

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen:
Behan, Bowes, Carson, Curtis, Elliott, Hardy,
Herald, Horn, Meek, Mundell, McIntyre, McLeod,
C Robinson, W Robinson, Skinner, Wilson, Wright.

The Clerk read the minutes of the two last meetings.

Communications were read and referred as follows:

From City Clerk, Ottawa enclosing forms of petitions
to Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and the members of the Legislative
Assembly Re: Contagious diseases. Referred to the Board of Health.

From Wm Gurd & Co and the Dorrien Plating and Mfg Co.
Re Dog tags. Fyled.

From J.W. Fiske Manufacturer New York. Re Fountains.

From W.D. Scott applying for position of Caretaker o
f Parks. Referred to the Committee on Parks.

From Secretary Carey Concert - Fyled.

From John P Oram Secretary to Agricultural Association
and Joseph B Walkem Re: Grant to Fair. Referred to
the Finance Committee.

From James Agnew Esquire, City Solicitor Re: Osborne
in Kingston. Fyled.

From W.D. McRae and Mary McCartney Re: Taxes.
Referred to the Court of Revision.

From A.F. McIntyre Solicitor for A Rousseau enclosing
communication from Mr Rousseau Re: Suction Pipe.

On motion of Ald Elliott seconded by Ald Wright
Ordered, That the communication be received and
that Mr McIntyre be granted an opportunity of addressing
the Council without prejudice to pending legislation.
