Ald Wright moves seconded by Ald Elliott
That the hour of ten .30 oClock PM in the report be struck
out and 11 oClock PM substituted therefore which being put was
lost.

Ald McIntyre moves (in amendment ) seconded by
Ald Gaskin
That in the event of the Company failing to avail
themselves of the proposal to construct a railway on other streets,
this Corporation shall be at liberty to make such proposal to any
other person or Company but shall not be restricted to a motive
power on such proposed new railways similar to the motive
power then used by the Company which being put was lost and
clause 22 was passed.

Clauses 23, 24, 25 and 26 were read and passed.

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Gaskin
Ordered, That in Arbitrations under this Agreement
a majority of the Arbitrators shall be competent and are
hereby authorized to make an award and an award so
made by a majority of the Arbitrators shall be valid and
binding as if made and assented to by all with Arbritrators.

Ald Gaskin moves seconded by Ald McIntyre
That the Company shall annually pay to
the City ten percent upon the gross annual earnings in Cities
of $25,000, such payment to be made quarterly on the
first days of January, April, July and October in each year
during the term of 40 years which being put was lost.

On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded Ald Hardy
Ordered, That the report of the Street Railway Committee
be received and adopted and the Mayor is hereby instructed
to complete said agreement by affixing signature and
the seal of the City.

On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded by Ald McIntyre
Ordered, That the Special Committee on Street Railway
appointed
