Ald Hardy introduced "A By Law to raise by way of
loan on the credit of the debentures therein mentioned the sum
of $947.19 for the purpose therein mentioned" which was read
a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading.
Ald Herald in the Chair.
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause. The Report was
received.
The 30th Rule was again suspended and the By Law
was read a third time and passed.

Ald McIntyre introduced "A By Law to authorize the
issue of debentures for $18,100 under the City of Kingston Debt
arrangement at 1887 (50th Victoria, Chap 56 Ontario 1887" which
was read a first time.
The 30th Rule was suspended and the Council went
into Committee of the whole on the second reading.
Ald Horn in the Chair.
The Council resumed.
The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second
reading of the By Law clause by clause. The Report was received.
The 30th Rule was again suspended and the By Law
was read a third time and passed.

On motion the Council adjourned.

A Meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City
of Kingston was held this day. Present:

Aldermen:
Behan, Carson, Curtis, Gaskin, Horn,
Meek, McIntyre, McKelvey, McLeod,
C Robinson, W Robinson, Ryan, Wilson,
Wright

The Mayor being absent owing to death in family,
Ald McIntyre was chosen chairman.

The Clerk read the minutes of the last meeting.

Bills 81, 16 & 169 submitted to Council from Ontario
Legislature - fyled.

School appropriations City of Kingston for 1893 Public
Schools $1803 - Separate Schools $595. Fyled.
