A Special meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston
was held this day. Present.

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Behan, Bowes, Carson, Curtis, Elliott, Herald, Horn, Meek,
Mundell, McAulay, McIntyre, McKelvey, McLeod, C Robinson,
W Robinson, Skinner, Wilson, Wright
The Mayor stated the meeting was called to take up regular business.

Communications from Sarah Holder presented by Ald Behan
and a number of others respecting taxes were referred to the Court of Revision.

Petitions were presented and referred as follows:

From John Muckleston and of others by Ald Meek requesting
that in the location of the Electric Railway Track it be placed on the West
side of King Street between West and Barrie Street in the place of that
portion of the Boulevard outside the trees and adjoining the Park Walk.
Referred to the Committee on Streets and Improvements.

From Henry Mooers and 25 others by Ald McKelvey requesting
to have the new Electric Road placed between the two rows of trees on the East
side of Barrie Street from King to Union. Fyled.

From L. Clements and H.J. Wilkinson President and Secretary
and Treasurer Kingston Real Estate Co. limited by Ald Carson asking
for a ten foot artificial stone side walk to run from the South East
corner of Clarence and King Streets a distance of 155 feet in a Southerly
direction. Referred to the Committee on Streets and City Commissioner.

From L. Clements and H.J. Wilkinson President and Secretary and Treasurer
Kingston Real Estate Co. Limited and 3 others by Ald Carson asking for a
ten foot artificial stone side walk on Ontario Street West between Clarence
and Johnston Streets. Referred to the Committee on Streets Improvements and
the City Commissioner.

From J. Muckleston and 7 others by Ald Carson asking for a ten
foot artificial stone side walk on Princess Street North between King and
Wellington Street. Referred to the Committee on Streets and Improvments and
the City Commissioner.

From L Clements and H.J. Wilkinson President and Secretary
Treasurer Kingston Real Estate Co Limited and the Messrs Folger Brothers
by Ald Carson asking for a ten foot artificial stone side walk on Clarence
street South between Ontario and King Streets. Referred to the Committee on
Streets and Improvements and the City Commissioner.

From John Truesdell and 10 others by Ald Carson asking for a
ten foot artificial stone side walk on Princess Street North between Bagot and
Wellington Street. Referred to the Committee on Streets and Improvements and
the City Commissioner.

From John Nicolle and 204 others by Ald Curtis asking the Council
to extend the limits of the Cow By Law to the whole City.

Ordered, That the prayer of the petitioners as to the extension of the
Pound limits be granted and that the Parks Committee be instructed in
conjunction with the City Solicitor to prepare a By Law extending the Pound
limits
