Referred to the Committee on Streets & Improvements
and City Commissioners

Ald. McIntyre from the Committee on Finance
and Accounts brought up two reports (Numbers 1100 &
1101 Book G) which were read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 1102 Book G)
which was read and he submitted two reports from the
City Engineers Re construction of Artificial stone walks
on Princess street with statement of measurements &c

Also a statement of Expenditure to the 30th of August
1893

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Meek
Ordered, That the report of the Committee on Streets
and Improvements be received and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Water Works
brought up a Report (Number 1103 Book G) which was
read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water and
Light brought up a Report (Number 1104 Book G) which
was read and adopted.

On motion the Council adjourned.

Kingston September 11th 1893

A Special meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day. Present:

Aldermen:
Behan, Bowes, Carson, Hardy, Herald, Horn, Meek,
Mundell, McAulay, McLeod, C Robinson Ryan,
Wilson and Gaskin

The Mayor being absent owing to illness

Ald Hardy was chosen Chairman

The Chairman stated the meeting was called to consider
changing of the rails of the Electric Railroad from King
to Ontario Streets.

The Chairman from the Committee on Markets brought
up a Report (Number 1105 Book G) Re: double track on
Brock Street from King to Ontario Streets which was read and
adopted - (Mr John McIntyre QC was heard in the
interest of the Collector of Market Tolls et al
