From John Hanley for a remission of Cab License by Ald Behan.
Referred to the Committee on Licenses.

From W.J. Maiden - Taxes by Ald Wright. Referred to
the Court of Revision.

Ald McIntyre from the Committee on Finance and
Accounts brought up Reports (Numbers 1109 and 1110 Book G)
which were read and adopted.

Ald McIntyre from the Committe on Finance and
Accounts brought up a Report (Number 1111 Book G) which
was read.

In amendment to report
Ald Hardy moves seconded by Ald Meek
That the report of the Finance Committee be amended
by striking out all words after that and substituting the f
ollowing "exemption be granted the Hosiery Company in
terms of the Report of the Finance Committee of 6th of July
1892 and that the City Solicitors be instructed to propose
a By Law to carry this report into effect" which being put was carried.

and the report was adopted as amended.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets & Improvements
brought up a Report (Numbers 1112 Book G) which was
read and adopted.

The Chairman also presented reports from the City Engineer
Re Construction of Artificial stone sidewalks on King Street,
Brock Street, Ontario Street and Princess Street with statement of measurements of the frontage
liable to rate &c which were read and fyled.

The Chairman also presented statement of expenditures
on streets &c to date. Fyled.

The Chairman from the Committee on Fire, Water and
Light brought up a Report (Number 1113 Book G) which
was read and adopted.

The Chaiman from the Committee on City Property brought
up a Report (Number 1114 Book G) which was read and
adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Markets
brought up a Report (Number 1115 Book G) which was
read and adopted.
