Ald Behan moves seconded by Ald C Robinson
That the matter of the Barrie Street walk be referred to the Streets Committee
to report which being put was lost and the original motion was carried.

Ald Herald from the Committee on Finance and Accounts brought
up a Report (Number 1122 Book G) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and Improvements
brought up a Report (Number 1123 Book G) which was read
and adopted.

Ald Carson moves seconded by Ald Meek
That the report of the Committee on Streets and Improvements
be received and adopted.

In amendment
Ald Herald moves seconded by Ald Elliott
That this Council agrees to build the drain asked for by the Public School
Board provided the P.S. Board pay the same portion of the cost as they would be
required to pay if the drain was built as a local improvement drain which
being put was lost and the original motion was carried.

Ald Meek introduced consolidated By Laws Nos. 470, 471, 472,
473, 474, 475, 476, 477, 478, and 479 which were read a first time.

On motion of Ald Meek seconded by Ald McIntyre
Ordered, That the 30th Rule be suspended and the Council now
proceed to a second reading of the consolidated By laws.

of By Law No 470 entitled "A By Law respecting Bread"

The Committee rose and the Chairman reported the second reading
of the By Law clause by clause. The report was received and the By Law
was read a third time and passed.
