The Chairman from the Committee on Streets brought up a
Report (Number 1127 Book G) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Water Works brought up
a Report (Number 1128 Book G) which was read and adopted.

The Chairman from the Committee on Licenses brought up a
Report (Number 1129 Book G) which was read.

On motion of Ald Wilson seconded by Ald Wright.
That the report of the Committee on Licenses be received and
adopted.

In amendment
Ald Carson moves seconded by Ald Behan
That the report be referred back to the Committee to report again
at the next meeting of this Council which being puot was lost and
original being put was carried.

The Committee on Fire, Water and Light asked for further
time to report in the matter of Hoses.

The Chairman from the Committee on Parks brought up a
Report (Number 1130 Book G) which was read and adopted.

On motion of Ald Meek seconded by Ald McIntyre
Ordered, That the City Clerk and the City Solicitor be requested to
report upon the requirements of the Act in regard to the taking of the
plebiscite so that the Council may understand what facilities to provide in
connection with the same and have an estimate of the probable cost of them.

On motion of Ald Meek seconded by Ald Elliott
Ordere, That the Court of Revision be requested to consider the Bill
which the Ontario Government has drafted and sent out in amendment to the
Assessment Act so far as it applies to personal property; that as it is proposed
to exempt all personal propperty from rates except interest income and
dividents, the City Assessor be asked to prepare a statement showing how far
the City Assessment would be affected if the bill became law; and that the
court report its enquiriers and recommendations to the Council as soon as
possible.

On motion of Ald Elliott seconded by Ald C Robinson
Ordered, That the mover and seconder and Ald Meek be a committee
to wait on the Electric Street Railway Company and endeavor to secure a
cheap rate on the Electric Cars for all school children and Teachers during
the hours between 8 & 9 o'clock in the morning, 1 & 2 o'clock and, 4 & 5 o'clock
in the evening.

On motion the Council adjourned.
