Hospital per I.E. Clarke Scott - Treasurer asking for a
substantial increase on the annual Grant owing to enlarged

From the Athletic Committee of Queens University by Ald Mundell
asking for a remission of the rent of the City Hall on the 2nd
of February last. Referred to the Committee on City Property.

From Joseph I Carrington by Alderman Gaskin
asking for a renewal of a further period of ten years that is
be exempted upon the value of his premises in the excess of
$5000. Referred to the Committee on Finance &c

which were read.

Ordered, That the Finance reports be taken up clause
by clause.

That the clause now under discussion be referred
back to the Committee on Finance to consult with the Water
Works Committee which being put was lost and the clause
was adopted.
