Ald Behan moves seconded by Ald Elliott
That the consideration of this clause be laid over
until the other clauses in the report be considered which
being put was lost as was also Ald Ryan's amendment
and the amendment of Alderman Walkem was carried and was accepted by
the Committee and embodied in the report.

Ald McKelvey moves seconded by Ald Skinner
That the report of the Finance Committee No 4
be referred back to the Committee

In amendment
Ald Elliott moves seconded by Ald Martin
That the report be referred back to the Finance
Committee to take into consideration the reduction of all City
officials where the efficiency of the respective officials will
not be impaired and to report which being put was lost
and the original motion was carried.

The 3rd clause of the report being put was lost

McKelvey, McMahon, Richardson, G Robinson,
Skinner, Walkem, Wright

The Clerk read the minutes of the two last meetings.

Communications summarized by the Clerk were read
and referred as follows:

From George M Macdonnell asking that nothing may be
done by the City Re: triangular piece of land on corner of
Victoria and Alfred streets which the City proposes to convey to
Bushey. Referred to the Board of Works.
