My dear Mr. Russell:

I deeply appreciate your letter. It
runs along the lines of my own thought, only you
speak from knowledge and I have thought by infer-
ence, and you may be sure that I will do my best
to act along the lines it suggests, though all
sorts of work in Russia now is rendered extremely
difficult because no one channel connects with any
other, apparently.

Cordially and sincerely yours,

Mr. Charles Edward Russell,
5649 Woodlawn Avenue,
Chicago, Illinois.
