Professors Mowat and Watson were appointed Curators
of the Library.

In reference to an application from Alex McLeod
who soon after the beginning of the session was under
the necessity of taking a situation in the Iroquois High
School, it was agreed to allow him to come up to the
University examination in April next.

The following examiners for prize essays were
appointed:
Maclennan - The Principal & Prof Watson
Lewis - The Principal & Prof Mowat
Macpherson - Prof Ferguson & Mr. Mowat
Carmichael - Profs Williamson & Dupuis

The Secretary was instructed to ascertain from
Messrs Hart & Rawlinson the cost of binding near
50 prize books, medium 8 no.

[margin]nomination Prof Mackerras[/margin]

Prof. Ferguson was appointed to prepare a
minute in regard to Prof Mackerras

[margin]Cameron scholarship[/margin]

It was announced by the Principal that
C. Cameron MP of Goderich had intimated his
intention of giving $60 a year to a gaelic student from
the ministry.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Dupuis, Ferguson and Watson.

The minutes of the last meeting held Jan 17th
were read and approved.

Prof. Ferguson gave in the minute which he
was appointed to prepare in regard to Prof. Mackerras.
