his examinations without class attendance in Victoria College
but shall require him to undergo his examinations anent,
and that the Senate thinks it unadvisable that having
begun his course at another University he should complete
it at Queen's.

[margin]scholarship gained and
matriculation exam passed[/margin]

On the report of the respective examiners it was
decided that Miles L Robertson has passed in French,
and German with honours; that Thomas H McGuirl
has passed the matriculation in Greek, and that Henry
T Shibley has passed the senior matriculation in
Law and is entitled to the Kirkpatrick prize.

[margin]regulations for student[/margin]

It was agreed that as soon as the Regulations
for student are printed they be placed in the hands
of the Librarian, and the students be apprised that
they are all expected to apply to him for a copy
of them, and are required to observe them
strictly.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Dupuis and Ferguson.

The minutes of the last meeting held Oct 28th
were read and approved.

[margin]scholarships in Theology[/margin]

It was found that the scholarships in Theology
had been gains as follows:

David Strathern Dow - $100 - Leslie W Thom
Buchan (3) - $50 - David Forrest
Church of Scotland (3) - $60 - John Chisholm

[margin]JA Brown[/margin]

In accordance with an application from Jas
A Brown now a Teacher in Chatham High
School it was agreed to count this as a full session
in his case on condition of his entering the classes
after the Christmas holidays.

[margin]RG Feek[/margin]

On an application from RG Feek that
he be allowed to accept an advantageous situation
recently, offered to him and available only if
accepted immediately, the Senate considering that
