Sea Foam

3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. water
1/2 t. vinegar
2 egg whites
1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts

Heat sugar and water - stirring till dissolved. After that do not stir. Heat to boiling - cover - and boil 3 min. Remove cover and cook to hard ball stage. Fold into whites beaten with salt. Add vanilla and nuts.
