Brownies

3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 t. B.P.
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 sq. chocolate
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts

Blend butter and chocolate. Combine sugar and eggs; add chocolate mixture, beating thoroughly, then flour, vanilla, and nuts. Greased pan 8 x 8 x 2".
