I think that there is no
reason why Mr. White should
not send me the money direct.
I do not think it is at all
necessary that it should come
through you, and I naturally
prefer to receive it in full
amount - thanking you at
the same time for what you
have done for me. I have
written to Mr White telling him
to do this - and I requested
him to come & see me.
I do not anticipate that the
Principal will ever be paid

in my lifetime. Therefore I
think it would be more satis-
factory if you now made your
charges against me. Especially
as I have lately been asked
by my Trustees in what
state I stand with Solicitor's
accounts. I only hope your
charges are not heavy as
the commission has always
been deducted from the
amounts paid. Should
the necessity again arise
for interference in Mr. White's
business with me I should
