WOOLWICH UNION.
PARISH OF KIDBROOK.
UNION OFFICES,
PLUMSTEAD,
22d November 1881
SIR,
I beg to acquaint you that in a Provisional Valuation List recently
delivered by the Overseers of the Parish of Kidbrook, certain premises occupied
by you, and situate Kidbrook Grove
are proposed to be
assesssed as follows viz:-
Gross Value, £120-. Rateable Value, £99 -
and that should you have any objections to offer to such proposed Assessment, it
is indispensably necessary that you (or some competent person on your behalf)
should attend a Meeting of the Assessment Committee, to be held at the Board
Room of the Guardians of the said Union, Plumstead, on
Friday the Ninth day of
December 1881, at 11 o'clock
in the forenoon, and then and there produce your Lease, Agreement, last Receipt
for Rent, or any other Documents you many be desirous of Tendering in evidence
of the value of your said Premises.

In the event of your case not being represented at this Meeting, the
above-mentioned Assessment will be confirmed, and you will be unable hereafter
to object to the amount when the Rates are made upon you in conformity with
such Valuation List.

P.S. - If it is your intention to object, send your notice to me, to the
Overseers, and to the Surveyor of Taxes, on the annexed forms, not later than
Monday the 28th day of November 1881
