Sleep in. Feels especially good after last weekend (Halloween) and resolving stuff yesterday.

8:45 Get up. Waffles. 40th Anniv Meet the Press.

10:30 Glance over Infoworld. Nothing to get me excited about coding yet. Didn't want to actually read Infoworld, because it's Sunday morning, so it was interesting looking at it in Gestalt. Also added a few notes to my Blue Notebook notes of yesterday evening.

Although it's true that I hadn't been very attentive to market situation before crash, it's not clear that I would've sold any MS. Even if I would've understood the Disc-Tbill Index, Yields, and Skousen's position, I still may have deferred to Market Logic's all inclusive indicator, which was suggesting +21% over next year. I was taking risk, but that's always true. But the unexpected happened in many back-to-back events, and was amplified by unexpected program trading. So my net worth was dimished by 1/3. In any case, I feel my risk is much less now, with D-T>0 and yield >3%, so I've learned enough to conclude I'm safe, for now.

12:00 Think about what to do this week. Probably makes sense to go to SF since all I need to do is read.

Decide to solve my video problems and get RCA Super VHS for living room.
