but overinvolvement had a way of perpetuating itself. I really believe I could have gotten at least a B+ with what political intellect I had at the time, but my ability to plan a reasonable quarter was lacking so I received a C in that course along with As in my other four classes.

For the next quarter I curtailed my activities so that I could improve my humanities and social science courses. The only outside activities I had were a reasonable amount of traveling, planning my four-week spring travel break around Europe, writing user documentation for Editx, which has since been published in sixty pages, and my singing debut at a reception the community had for Stanford students.

It was, then, a very educational, well-rounded quarter. Receiving 4 B+s, I probably did as well as I could considering my lack of experience in rigorous H + SS
