Then there's northern Cal, the Bay Area, the faggots dream. It is so tried as Mark Culper always said, the bars are not fantastic, the most of them are in a bad part of town. There are no warm beaches. I got sick of the whole scene after years at Stanford. It is ugly to me. Even when I got there for work I don't like to stay overnight. All the beauty I've known there has come from elsewhere. Neither Marvin nor Kulper nor anyone I've known there, except Bill Swegles could hold me there. I presently know no one there that I want to know better.

So that leaves the Southwest + S.C. Texas may be ok but it still is slow + a drawl city; I have not been there + the only thing I know about it are the TI has plants there. Electronics is not concentrated there. It has little positive in age.
