And I'd always be going out to look + not finding them. I would be frustrated.

What do I want in my friends. People who are doing things. Making music, building houses refining houses, programming, making films, working on software. All of the interesting friends I have are from LA. Like Layne, Candy Mintz, etc. All of the real people in my life.

I just saw a piece of the Rose Bowl. Oh what gorgeous hunks down there in LA playing with each other.

Think of Tom Fleming + Mike [Root?] what fun guys + men. How free they were to do their thing.

Back to working in ABQ. Suppose I do it for 2 years, then with that money get into something else. The big ? is "will the microcomp soft market be dried up by then?" I highly doubt it. Whatever I'd be working on there in ABQ, I'd probably want to transfer to LA or wherever. Whatever they work on I will most likely want to do too.
